We used to create a personalize link in Qualtrics and then send our survey via Marketo.
Our company recently switched from Marketo to Hubspot. Hubspot and Qualtrics doesn’t integrate the same way as Marketo did. So the work around was to provide an anonymous link to Hubspot. Then in Hubspot we appended a unique ID. Our response rate to our surveys have tanked using this set up. Does anyone else have a suggestion or solution?
Does the link to the survey look differently than it did in Marketo? I’m wondering if it looks more anonymous, coupled with any other changes, that’s causing the drop rate.
Yes! The Marketo link was short and our new Hubspot link is VERY long.
That would be my guess, if you could shorten the link to make it similar to what you had before I would be interested to see if the response rates went back to where they were.
I was on a couple of other boards discussing response rates and survey fatigue along with the fear of phishing can really impact the response rates.
Thank you! That’s the first thing we are going to test then.

Great advice
Our IT team refuses to believe that the link is the issue.

Maybe try HubSpot’s link shortener: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/social/link-shortening-in-social-posts
