Topic: Adding a Submit Button to a Survey

As simple as it may seem, having a submit button at the end of a survey can enhance a respondent’s survey experience by providing a clear endpoint, alerting them of their last opportunity to edit their responses, and allowing them to decide when to submit their responses. This feature can also improve the quality of data by reducing the likelihood of incomplete responses and allowing respondents to review their responses before submitting them.

To add a submit button to the end of a survey, the last page of questions must be in the final block and the button text in the block must be changed to “Submit.” This text can appear in the language the survey is being taken in if a message from the library is used and translated.

Increase your data quality by adding a submit button to your survey today!

How to find this feature:

  1. Go to your Survey Project.
  2. At the bottom of your survey, click Add Block.
  3. Move the final page of questions to this block.
  4. Click your final block.
  5. Click Next / Previous button text.
  6. In the Next Button Text field, type Submit.
  7. Click Save.

Question of the Day: Does your team add submit buttons to all of your surveys? If not, why? If so, how has it impacted your incomplete data collection?
