Brand Administration
- Configuring Organization SSO Settings: User interface refresh. Brand Administrators can now activate multiple connections at once for a brand and separately determine what SSO settings are available for user login vs. survey authenticators. There are also changes to the relay state when configuring SAML as an IdP.
- Data Tab Redesign: The Data & Analysis tab has been redesigned to meet accessibility standards. Changes include the ability to edit responses at any time without entering edit mode, a separate “Field Editor” for creating and editing custom fields, and a redesigned column chooser for selecting which columns are displayed in the data table. This feature will begin gradually rolling out on Jan 31, 2022. All customers will have the feature enabled by February 28, 2022.
- Org Hierarchy Updates: Updates to the hierarchy deletion process, including a change for hierarchy generation in which hierarchies in the same project will no longer be allowed to share the same metadata fields. This change only impacts new hierarchies, not existing ones. This update applies to Employee Engagement projects, but not Lifecycle or Ad Hoc Employee Research projects. This update began gradually rolling out on Jan 27, 2022, and will be enabled for all eligible customers by Feb 21, 2022.
- Simple Layout: A new layout designed for improved usability, mobile-friendliness, and accessibility for the most commonly used Qualtrics features.
- SMS Distributions (EX): SMS distributions are now available for Lifecycle projects.
- Spotlight Insights for Lifecycle: Insights are now available in Lifecycle. In place of hierarchy units, you can filter comparisons by a date range.
- Removing Advanced-Reports Visualizations: Added the ability to remove multiple visualizations at once. This update affects CoreXM advanced reporting, 360 subject reports, and EX report templates.
- R Coding in Stats iQ: Now Stats iQ supports coding in R, a statistical language that is widely used for flexible and powerful analysis.
- Extract Data from SuccessFactors: You must now register an Oauth Client using X.509 certificate in order to authenticate into SuccessFactors. Existing SuccessFactors workflows are not affected at this time, but are advised to be updated before May 2022.
- Extract Responses from a Survey Task: Use workflows to automatically extract data from your surveys and upload elsewhere, such as an SFTP.
- Load Data into SFTP Task: Use workflows to automatically load data to a SFTP.
- Support for Third Party Extensions: How to differentiate between 1st and 3rd party extensions, and how to seek support.
- Workflow Notifications: Added the ability to create notifications when the workflow trigger fails.
- Distribution History Updates: The distributions tab has been updated so that the total number of distributions as well as the number of pages of distributions will no longer be displayed. Distributions older than 3 years are also no longer visible in the platform.
- Merge Duplicate Contacts: Wording changed from “consolidate contacts” to “merge duplicate contacts.” You can now create multiple rules for merging contacts rather than just one. Improved user interface.
- Transactions: New tab in XM Directory allowing users to view and upload transaction data.
- Transaction Group Distributions: In addition to mailing lists, segments, and individual contacts, distributions in XM Directory can now be sent to transaction groups.
- Piped Text for Metadata Values in 360 Reports: New 360 reports now allow you to pipe the values of subject metadata into your report, just like in legacy reporting.
- Results Table Visualization: Two updates to results tables in new 360 subject reports: added ability to include rater category display logic and breakouts.
- Scoring Overview Table (360): Added the ability to include comparisons on scoring overview tables.
- SMTP Relay: Users can now set up an SMTP relay without reaching out to Qualtrics Support. SMTP relays allow you to send distributions in Qualtrics using your own domains.
- Brand Drivers Analysis Quadrant Chart: A new feature on this BX widget called the “impact simulator” lets you adjust different drivers so you can understand the impact these changes will have on your outcome metric.
- PGP Encryption for Google Drive: Now when extracting data from Google Drive, you can use PGP encryption to protect your files.
- ServiceNow Event: Improvements to the ServiceNow event, including the ability to add conditions based on fields in ServiceNow and the ability to edit the event after it is set up.
