Hi Everyone,

As someone who spends a lot of time in the Survey Builder, I’ve often wondered: If we are moving toward an AI-native world, why is the manual "logic-building" process still so click-intensive?

We all know the flow: navigating nested menus for skip logic, setting up embedded data, and configuring branching. It’s precise work, but it’s also highly mechanical.

I’ve been working on a project at Pirai AI to see if we can move toward Cognitive Liberation for researchers—freeing us from the "mechanical tax" of software navigation so we can focus entirely on research design.

The result is a Voice-Activated MVP for Qualtrics.

Imagine building out your survey flow just by speaking:

  • 🎤 “Show Q2 if Q1 is yes” (Instant Display Logic)

  • 🎤 “Create embedded data 'Segment' = 'Alpha'” (Instant Survey Flow)

  • 🎤 “If Q1 is no, skip to the end of the block” (Instant Skip Logic)

I’d love to get the community’s take on this:

  1. Do you feel the "mechanical" side of programming (the clicks and menus) slows down your creative process?

  2. If you could "voice-command" your survey architecture, which manual task would you want to automate first?

  3. How do you see the role of the XM Professional evolving as the UI begins to "disappear"?

I’m sharing a look at how this works in the video below. I’m really curious to hear if you think this kind of "Invisible UI" would change your daily workflow.

Looking forward to the discussion!
