Qualtrics offers to customize the “end of survey” page bei either showing a custom message OR by showing a response summary. However, I do not see any option to show the “response summary” page and at the same time customize the message that’s shown on that page.

What can I do?

Just FYI in case someone else faces the same problem. I had an issue where it wouldn’t show the custom message even though setup correctly. It is important that when you create a custom message you do so in the library where you make sure you also have a translation for your survey’s base language.

In my case I directly created a “new message” in the “show response summary” drop down. This will create a message in your platform language (in my case English) and then won’t show in your survey if it has a different language (in my case German).
