I have 1 project that includes programs of 2 types (type1 and type2). The project gets funded a base amount (regardless of type1, type2, or both). Depending on total number of participants and the type, an additional sum of money is awarded to the project on top of the base amount. Type1 programs receive more funding per participant group than Type2.
For example:
base amount: $10000
Type1 participant funding:
5-10 receive $5000
11-19 receive $7000
20-29 receive $9000
Type2 participant funding:
5-10 receive $3000
11-19 receive $5000
20-29 receive $7000
Let's say the project has 9 Type1 participants and 12 Type2 participants. The formula should be:
$10,000 (base amount) + $5,000 (5-10 Type1 category) + $5,000 (11-19 Type2 category) = $20,000 (total funding)
Is is possible to do this in Qualtrics? I have the totals of each category calculated through the "constant sum" feature but can't seem to figure out how to apply the funding scheme...newbie and thank you!

Hi safb ,
You should be able to use math operations to do so.
