Does Qualtrics support connecting to the Tango sandbox platform (https://tango-portal.sandbox.tangocard.com) for testing Tango integrations with Qualtrics workflows? If so, are there any tricks to setting this up?

I haven’t had any problem using tango’s sandbox in the past. The integration task is pretty user-friendly.

Thank you @vgayraud, I will try to troubleshoot with our Qualtrics admin. I generated an Qualtrics incentive API key within the Tango sandbox, but maybe the Qualtrics admin set up the Tango workflow account incorrectly in Qualtrics. The documentation at https://help.rewardsgenius.com/s/article/QualtricsIntegrationSetUp23 says to `Connect Tango to Qualtrics using the Tango’s platform name and Qualtrics API Key.` Do you know if the platform name for the Tango sandbox is simply `sandbox` or something else like `tango-sandbox`?

I couldn’t say off the top of my head, but if i recall correctly, the platform name is given in the Tango API keys section.

Just remembering this, but some licenses still have the old task by Qualtrics. Be sure to use the one published by Tango:

Thank you @vgayraud, I do see the platform name within the Tango Qualtrics integration settings; that is helpful to know. Yes, I am aware that the `Tango by Qualtrics` should no longer be used. I will double-check the Qualtrics workflow account setting for Tango and see if that resolves the issue.

@vgayraud unfortunately we updated the Qualtrics workflow accounts for the sandbox platform but I am still receiving an invalid incentive ID error. My incentive has valid dates, but I’m wondering if there is another account that needs to be created on the Qualtrics side or if our production Qualtrics account should be the only one that is needed?

If I remember correctly (I don’t have access to that client’s platform anymore), I had created two Tango global accounts in the Qualtrics extensions admin section: one with the prod platform name as username and the prod account API key as password, the other with the sandbox platform name and the sandbox API key.

I am not able to see what the configuration options are on the Qualtrics admin side for the Tango extension. I’m guessing the extension is somehow not resolving to the sandbox URL and is instead trying to query the production API address, which would not match the sandbox API key. If the Tango extension does not have a field to specify if the account is for the production or sandbox platform, I’m not sure how it would resolve to the correct address.

I might be confusing it with something else then (been a while). I’ll try to dig in my old emails/logs and see if I can find something.
