Topic: Handling Incomplete Responses
While we’d love for every respondent who opens our survey to provide accurate and complete survey responses, this is unfortunately very uncommon. Incomplete responses are inevitable, but instead of completely dismissing or deleting them, we can use them to understand respondent behavior and identify potential dropout points.
Responses in progress turn into incomplete responses when an incomplete survey is submitted, a response is closed either manually or via survey settings, or a survey with responses in progress is closed. This data can be viewed by filtering responses with progress of less than 100%. Since these responses can still contain valuable information for both the study and survey design, it is recommended to keep this incomplete data but avoid using it in analysis or reports.
Start making the most out of all of your collected data by examining your incomplete responses today!
