ENPS Score - Direct and indirect

Hi Community,

How can we show eNPS scores for both direct and indirect reports for each manager in a single widget, with a list of all managers? What is the best way to achieve this in Qualtrics Employee Experience dashboards?

Thanks!

Hi @stephen_laddha , I’m currently reporting scores from direct reports only (excluding indirect reports, for leaders of leaders) by using the NPS metric in a table widget, with Manager Name as the Rows field. That gives me a list of all managers, by name, and eNPS (plus a bunch of other metrics that I add in).

I don’t believe there is a way to natively display results for just indirect reports. I’m using a similar report to the one above, but for the Row using separate embedded data fields for the leader name at each level of the hierarchy. That gets me the results for their overall organization. You could pull both that and the report above into Excel and calculate the indirect results using a weighted difference. You could then bring the results back into a new embedded data field (I use the Survey Response Task to do something similar) and then display it in a table widget by using the ‘maximum’ metric type.

To do both in a single widget, I’d think that you would need to replicate the method for just indirect reports by creating a second new embedded data for the directs only result. Then you could use the ‘maximum’ metric type for each embedded data field as separate metrics in a table.

Unfortunately, Qualtrics doesn’t have native support for displaying indirect results only, but that would be a great product suggestion!
