There seems to be so many sources out there, I've found picking one almost impossible.
For the last few years I've been using Google Alerts for updates which has worked well for me. Setting keyword searches and getting the best results delivered to my email every week.
I'm looking forward to hearing what others use as i feel i might be missing out on some newer ideas.
@PeterMc @JohnDod I feel like the most important thing to find out what’s going on in XM is to keep our ears to the ground about what customers seem to be prioritizing in terms of their experience, best practices, etc. Especially with so much upheaval in the public sector, I’ve been in listening mode to follow what people are saying to us, and what the zeitgeist is. Nontraditional sources like Reddit can be valuable for this.
A provocative question @PeterMc! In a nutshell I follow 3 broad strategies to keep abreast of developments in the world of XM
to begin with I follow, engage with and link up with people on LinkedIn and other social platforms like this one
Whether I'm lurking, liking or actively participating, these engagements offer new insights, interesting angles and occasionally whole new perspectives
time permitting (which is never enough!) I write & post articles on various fora. Many are behind a paywall but some allow you to publish for fre. The writing process requires research and triggers responses both of which help in deepening and broadening my own understanding of XM
finally I keep an eye out for new XM and CX certifications. Learning new XM methodologies is not only inherently interesting but enriches and helps develop a more holistic understanding of the world of Experience Management
Great insights and strategies - thank you all for sharing!
