Hello,
I have a rank question with 4 responses. I would like it set up so that only unique numbers are allowed. I do not want any repeated ranking....the rank must be 1,2,3,4 (in whatever order) when the respondent moves on to the next question.
Is there a way to do that with Custom Validation? nothing I have tried so far has worked.

You can use text entry type in rank question. In there you will need to specify validation and that will take care of the requirement.

+3I'm sorry but I'm new at this...when I changed to text entry I now have 1 field. I don't have any additional lines for all of the responses etc. I tried multiple lines but it didn't give me extra rows.
