With President Biden's announcement that employers with more than 100 employees will be required to ensure staff are vaccinated or tested weekly for COVID-19, more and more organizations are taking steps to implement a vaccine and testing management program.
In government, state and local mandates can also impact agency/department requirements for vaccine and testing management.
So I wanted to ask this group, how is your agency or team responding to the current conditions around vaccine mandates? Are your return to office plans changing as a result? Any best practices or insights are welcome!
As you all already may have heard, Qualtrics is committed to working with governments to ensure they are able to effectively manage and monitor the vaccine and testing requirements in government. To make your lives easier, our team has developed a Vaccine Status Manager solution -- if you haven't yet already, I'd highly recommend checking out the in depth demonstration! 💉💉

It's too early to tell--we need to wait for guidance from OMB and our agency (HHS), as well as NIH. These are large organizations so it will take some time.

AdamK12 Makes sense, wait and see is a common, safe approach these days. Is there a timeline for guidance, i.e. 2022, or is it a bit of a black box? I suspect the latter...

Matt_DOnofrio From what has been communicated to me, there is not much of a timeline at this point. I hear a lot of anecdotal interest in when and how we will be returning to the office, but because it is a government-wide issue there are a lot of moving parts. In the meantime, speaking for my team, we've been quite successful with telework. We collaborate extremely well and it's made us far more intentional in our communication with each other.

AdamK12 Glad to hear your team has adjusted well to the (not so) new environment. It will be interesting to see if governments adopt some form of hybrid or flexible work models moving forward, as I know that has resonated with many employees.
