We want to reward and thank you, our community members, for your incredible contributions to the Experience Community through the updated Rank & Rewards Program. Please read this entire post to familiarize yourself with the program and policies.

You can achieve different levels / ranks within the community, depending on the number of points that you've accumulated. Every Experience Community member will reach Level 1 once they earn 50 points. Your ranking will display on your profile and next to your name whenever you post or comment. You'll earn a new badge, which will be displayed on your profile, and an email congratulating you for each level you reach! When you unlock a new level, you'll receive a DM with your downloadable badge!

Everyone earning points on the Experience Community is eligible to “spend” the points for exclusive Community merch on our merch store.

Earn Points:

 

Provide an answer ➡️ 15 Points | Post a reply ➡️ 5 Points | Create a discussion or question ➡️ 10 Points | Receiving a like or a vote ➡️ 1 Point | Give a like or a vote ➡️ 1 Point

 

Rules:

 

  1. No cheating! Administrators retain all rights to determine if someone has gamed their way up into higher levels (eg., posting AI-generated content). 
  2. Qualtrics employees and SAP employees are not eligible for rewards
  3. Merch acquired from the merch store with Experience Community points must be for your own personal, individual use
  4. We utilize a third-party vendor and store to fulfill all merch shipments. Therefore, we cannot guarantee any specific timeline for your order and there may be a time gap between order, fulfillment, and delivery
  5. Please note, each country has its own customs processes and regulations. In some situations, you may be contacted by UPS to verify customs and delivery information. In that case, you are responsible for those communications. Failing to respond to those communications could result in a failed delivery and the disposal of your package
  6. When asked, please provide us with an address that large, international carriers (UPS, DHL, FedEx) can easily deliver to -- if you are located in India, we highly recommend a work address, as we will only send your swag shipment once
  7. Read the *full* Merch Store FAQ post carefully, including the fine print at the bottom of the post

 

 

Each time you reach a new level in the Rank & Rewards Program, you will receive a direct message that gives you access to your badge for the level you reached.

Step 1: Take a Photo and Post on LinkedIn

  • Take a clear, well-lit photo of your Qualtrics Experience Community swag items
  • Open LinkedIn and create a new post with your photo

Step 2: Write Your Caption

 

We understand writing a caption might feel time-consuming or even cringy so here’s some prompts that could help!

  • Option A: Shout Out Friends or Colleagues

    • Tag colleagues or friends who might be interested
    • Example: "Big thanks to @Qualtrics Experience Community for the awesome swag! Hey atag colleagues/friends], you've got to see this swag!"
  • Option B: Share What You Love About the Community

    • Express your enthusiasm for being part of the Experience Community
    • Example: "I'm excited to be part of this vibrant community that's expanding the art and science of improving experiences! @Qualtrics"
  • Option C: Show How You'll Use Your Items

    • Describe specific ways you plan to use your swag
    • Examples:
      • "Can't wait to wear this fleece on my next hiking trip!"
      • "This water bottle is perfect for staying hydrated during long workdays"
      • "Excited to bring this briefcase/backpack to my next conference!"
      • "This cap will be my go-to for weekend outdoor activities"

IMPORTANT: Your post must tag @Qualtrics and #ExperienceCommunity to be eligible.

 

Step 3: Complete the Survey

 

Complete this 2-question survey and wait for confirmation. Once confirmed, you'll receive your 50 points!

 

Share your achievement with the world. Post on LinkedIn for extra points:

  • When you achieve a new level, you will receive a DM with a link to a badge image for download
  • Open LinkedIn and create a new post

Step 2: Write Your Caption

 

Choose one of these posting approaches and write your caption:

  • Option A: Share Your Achievement

    • Celebrate earning your badge and what it represents
    • Example: "Proud to have earned my @Qualtrics Experience Community badge! This represents my commitment to improving customer experiences."
  • Option B: Share What You Learned

    • Highlight the knowledge or skills you gained
    • Example: "Just earned my badge from @Qualtrics Experience Community! Learned so much about experience management and can't wait to apply these insights."
  • Option C: Encourage Others to Join

    • Invite your network to participate in the community
    • Example: "Earned my @Qualtrics Experience Community badge! If you're passionate about customer experience, I highly recommend joining this amazing community."
  • Option 😨 Share Your Next Steps

    • Describe how you'll use what you've learned
    • Example: "Badge earned! Ready to put my new @Qualtrics Experience Community knowledge to work in improving our customer journey."

I’ve filled out the survey for level 3 a couple of times because I wasn’t convinced it went through but still haven’t received a confirmation link or anything in the mail.  I’m not sure at this point if it went through or there was a backlog since it was over a month ago.

 

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!

We do have a backlog going on at the moment, but our new Community team member @AlonsoC is now managing Rank and Rewards (Amara is on a different team now at Qualtrics and is no longer managing the R&R program). You can read more about Alonso and team changes here!

In the meantime, I will work with Alonso to make sure your shipment is queued up.

Hello, everyone!

I am considering revamping the merchandise included in our Rank and Rewards program. If you are subscribed to this thread or see this post, please tell me in the comments (or DM me) with your thoughts on what kind of merchandise you would like to see in our Rank and Rewards program! 

All ideas welcome. Note -- we will likely not do gift cards, food, or plants due to the international nature of our Community and program.

I have a question regarding my profile. I would like to know where I can view my total points. Currently, I can only see my badges without any information about the points. Could someone please provide me with this information?

The Qualtrics Community Board All Time Rankings lists it but I’m not aware of a place in the profile to view it (which would be nice).  


Great to be able to share and see our progress in the community! Great initative, wish we could set up sometihng like this for our internal programs to promote engagement!

We hope to go live as soon as possible, which could be approximately November. A lot of this is dependent upon production timelines for the new merch. I will keep everyone updated!

I have a question regarding my profile. I would like to know where I can view my total points. Currently, I can only see my badges without any information about the points. Could someone please provide me with this information?

@pamelalbeck is correct. The leaderboard is the only place to see points at the moment. This is a platform limitation, but I will submit an enhancement request to our vendor to add it to profiles to make it easy to see! 

EDIT: You can also send me a DM or @AlonsoC and we can tell you at any time how many points you have. I should also add that when the “store” model opens for members to redeem points for merch, we will let you know how many points you can redeem.

not sure if this falls under the New Merch heading but do believe it falls under the broader Rank & Rewards Program - namely the many different badges (apart from the Monthly ones) that one can (could?) earn 😁 I recall there was a page listing & describing the many ones that folks could endeavour to achieve. Does this stil exist in some form, or no longer, or does it sit on a roadmap of sorts for example?

Yes it was useful, we had page earlier highlighting all the badges and the points for different badges a member can earn. I also can not find same.


@SteveBelgraver and ​@PeeyushBansal -- thanks for the question about badges! You are both correct, we do not have a complete listing of available badges at the moment, but this is something ​@AlonsoC and I can handle easily. 

We will create an updated list of available badges when we launch our new merch store. The anticipated timing of that is before the end of the month.

Hi! I received my first badget one year ago but the link is not availble anymore… who can help me with this?


@Michael_Cooksey or ​@AlonsoC may be able to help.  This happened to me once where I lost the link to the badge and had to go back in the message to get it.  I try to save the instructions and badge links now when I earn them so I have a back up copy.
