Always remember to take time for yourself to refill your tank.I have found that having hobbies and goals that keep me fit (training for obstacle courses, Jiu Jitsu, etc) keep me sharper and more focused. I try to stay away from vegatating in front of my TV when I am off work.

Yes! Doing an activity with a goal in mind also keeps me focused and helps me stay consistent.

Wellness tip: Spend time in the sun, stay consistent with the gym 3–4 times a week, encourage my close ones to do the same, and enjoy quality family time on weekends. We also make the most of our office pool by taking a relaxing dip once a week.

Your office has a pool?!! Jealous! 🏖

Qualtrics better start upping its game. No one cares about a basketball court anymore; better start digging for a pool!

I've been working from home for the past five years and didn't pay much attention to my health. Now, I've started going to the gym and eating healthier to feel more balanced and take better care of myself.

I’m focusing on simple habits that help me feel my best - starting the day with stretching or a bit of yoga, choosing healthy, nourishing foods, getting enough rest, and taking mindful breaks when needed.

I’m also trying to stay active, spend a little time outdoors, and disconnect from screens to recharge. These small, consistent choices make a big difference in how I feel every day.

Wellness Tip: I love hot yoga! At first I hated it, but the more I’ve practiced it the more I’ve grown to love it! The heat of the room grounds me and helps me focus on my practice, not stress!

Taking a walk in the park has become my reset button. No headphones, no scrolling just a quick break to clear my head and breathe. It’s simple, but it genuinely shifts my mood every time.

Nature and music - you can’t go wrong.

I also enjoy Yoga but not the hot one. Staying hydrated is important. :0)  Enjoy

One of the best things I've done for my mental health is being intentional about my screen time. I make it a point to either leave my phone on a different floor or switch notifications to silent — anything to break that cycle of constantly checking it. I've never liked the feeling of being constantly "on", and I genuinely feel so much better when I take those little breaks from my screen. Highly recommend giving it a try!

On another note, I'm currently looking for a workout app to help me build gym programs — ideally designed by a kinesiologist or someone with an actual fitness background (not just an influencer 😅). Any recommendations?

My wellness tip:  Over the past several years I’ve been trying to eat less meat.  Some weeks that means going fully vegetarian for 3 meals a day for five days at a time, but other weeks it might just be eating vegetarian for a day or two.  I try not to be too hard on myself about it--especially because I’m cooking for my family, not just myself.  I even made a dashboard about it!  I feel like I sleep better, digest better, and have more energy on days when I don’t eat meat.  Over the years I’ve found several recipes that I can’t get enough of (and that makes it easier, right).  I thought I’d share one here.

Spicy Braised Chickpeas & Fennel
1 medium fennel bulb with fronds
4 cloves garlic, smashed
2 medium lemons
2 cans (15 oz.) chickpeas
½ cup olive oil
1 ½ Tbsp. harissa paste
½ tsp salt
3 springs rosemary
4 oz. feta cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Chop fennel & reserve fronds.
  3. Thinly slice 1 ½ lemons and remove seeds.
  4. Drain and rinse chickpeas.
  5. Pour olive oil into a 9”x13” casserole dish.
  6. Add harissa and salt and stir to combine.
  7. Add chickpeas, fennel, garlic, lemon slices, and rosemary.  Toss everything to coat with olive oil.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake 1 hour, stirring halfway through.
  9. After it’s cooked: remove rosemary twigs, squeeze juice of ½ lemon over the dish, and top with fennel fronds and feta cheese.
  10. Serve warm over couscous.
