Hello all,
I have a complex case for my survey. I need to set up a side-by-side that depends on other questions, so here it is the explanation.
Q8: This question is a simple "multiple choice" (square choices) with a very lengthy list. Nothing to do here, but this quickstarts everything. It is mandatory and at least 1 option is selected.
Q10: This is the first problem. Side by side question, where the statements are carried on from the selected choices in Q8. As you can see in the image, there are three variables (S, V, R) and each has 3 single-choice (only one has to be selected).
Problem 1: The user should mandatorily select one option for each group per row.
Problem 2: Each of those answers is recoded, and has a numeri value. I have an equation, and after the user leaves this question (without showing it to him), I need to calculate something with my function (to simplify, it would be S+V+R). However, the value is __one per statement__ (not one for the entire question).
Here is the question:
Here are the recoded values (I know it is chopped, but you get the gist):
Q11: The actually problematic point. See screenshot below.
The statement are the _displayed statements_ in Q10. This was easy to do.
Problem 3: The PPR column should be a text field, that displays the math equation of Problem 2. Thus, I need to match statement Q10.StatementX value, to Q11.StatementX value (does that makes sense?). That's why I need the values of Problem 2 calculated individually per statement.
Problem 4: the textfield of the PPR should be _non editable_ (just a display).
Problem 5: The columns S, V, R should start (for each statement) with the values the participant selected in Q10. These can be changed, but should start like that. Ideally, there will be an aesthetic mark (e.g., a blue outline) on the "original" response, but that's not needed. Starting with the response will be the best.
Problem 6: I need to re-calculate the math equation of Problem 2, with the results of this question. This is to keep, not to display.
How the table looks
This is the entire mess that I need. Any insights will be greatly appreciated.
