can we have two separate surveys going at diffent time but overlap
We are going send out our course evaluations on Monday. We have another survey we would like to send out about week later using the course evaluation setup. So the surveys will overlap will that cause any problems? I have email out for support but I need answers NOW. Dates of the survey cannot change.

we routinely have multiple surveys going at once, qualtrics can handle this just fine. caveat is that user permissions can have a cap on number of active surveys and number of emails sent, so as long as those limits are high enough you shouldn’t have a problem.
@jon_dee are you using the course evaluations setup or the normal Qualtrics tool when you have over lap surveys? We are using course evaluation setup so we should not have to worry about email limits.
Shouldn’t be an issue. We use our course evaluation setup for dozens of surveys at once.
@cporter Thank you letting me know that it can be done.
Can I change the Student View for each survey and use the QR and blackboard links without a problem running the same time? Since they are totally different and different deadlines?
So long as each survey is truly independent (meaning you are creating new ones and not just editing the first one). Then each survey will have it’s own deadline and link that can be used for QR code and in blackboard.
@cporter and @jon_dee
I am trying to setup the second survey that I would like to go out on Monday. We are using totally different survey for this one. Can we change these settings for the second survey
I would need to change the Email address and Name of the default email sender.
and can we change this page also for just this survey that we want to go out on Monday? Like the name and the deadlines? But have everything for the first survey as this?
Sorry that I keep asking questions but I am getting mix answers and I need to have it correct.
I got all the surveys working after having hiccups: The message didn’t have link, the subject line did not list the course the survey was about and the Student name was blank.
Here is how I fixed the hiccups:
I was thinking that the link would added the message like the regular Qualtrics does when you reuse the message. - So I found the link and paste that in the message.
I deleted the embedded data that was listed in the subject line but still would like to learn how we can use embedded data there. I changed the Student view so it listed both types of surveys that are running so the students can figure out why so many surveys are going at once.
I used the panel embedded FirstName for the student name instead what the embedded state was used for the survey embedded name.
Send out the reminder the next day and got 7% responds rate for the day vs only 4 responds the first day.
