Hello,
I'm working on survey that went to a set of customers who purchased a product last year but not this year.
There seems to be an issue with the list I was given as some respondents indicated in the survey that they actually have purchased the product this year.
Is there a way to exclude these responses when I do the analysis? I don't want to delete them but would like to exclude them.
Thank you

thank you!
thank you!
This is a great resource, and below is how I went about it: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/data-and-analysis-module/data/filtering-responses/
In the survey, I created a filter called "BadData."
Qualtrics caught several responses that were flagged as bots or duplicates. I created a new field for the survey, which was marked as embedded data, and named it "BadData." For every response that I thought was actually a bot or duplicate, I wrote in the BadData field, "true." I created a new filter that would exclude any response that was marked as true for BadData.
There is a way to select all of those filtered responses and globally edit those that had an empty BadData fields, and then define them as "false."
For the survey dashboard, I added a field to the Dashboard data in the Settings called "Bad Data." This would allow me to filter the responses that had true or false definitions for the BadData field. From there, I can lock the filter in the dashboard.
This way, I don't delete anything but can exclude bots and duplicates in my dashboard reporting.
