How can I create an API that allow me to create a Txt, or CSV file (in order to upload it in sftp) with information from results generated in previous task (example distribution link)?

@Susana_Branco You can’t just create your own API and use it in Workflow and it’s not an automate solution that can handle random txt or csv file. ETL flow in Qualtrics only support few built-in extract source. I saw your recent posts and I think you should let us know what you’re planning to do overall so we can consult you with the best way instead of asking individual step and eventually you will meet a dead-end.

@Susana_Branco That’s the solution you’re pursuing and I have to tell your that it’s not doable in Qualtrics workflow alone. Before come up with any solution, we should do a little discovery session to know what’s really your need.

What are you trying to achieve? The whole thing, not just this step that’s stuck.

 


We have a very manual process:

Every day, Qualtrics imports a distribution list from SFTP. It then creates two mailing lists: one for contacts that have an email address and another for those without one.

It distributes the survey to the contacts with email addresses.

Manually someone goes to the survey distribution section and generates personalized links for the second mailing list (contacts without emails), and use it in other platform to distribute by sms.

I’m exploring how to automate these step to eliminate manual work. I thought that could we generate a distribution links and uploadit in SFTP file.
