Hi Qualtrics Community,

I have a survey question: “Which of the following things do you have? Please select all that apply.”

-Table

-Chair

-Sofa

-Bed

-Chester drawer

Now, I am interested only in the combination of Table and Chair OR Table and Sofa answers. Respondents might have selected more option, but I am interested only in these two combinations.

So, in a next question, I would like to have a piped text: “Did you buy Table and {Chair OR Sofa} from the same shop? How do I specifically select and add these two piped text with Chair or Sofa, since people might have selected more options.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ank

Use embedded field to piping the text. E.g.

  1. if table and chair is selected and sofa is not selected, embedded field = Table and chair
  2. if table and sofa is selected and chair is not selected, embedded field = Table and sofa
  3. if table and chair and sofa is selected, embedded field = Table and chair and sofa
  4. if only table is selected and sofa and chair is not selected, embedded field = Table (same gor chair and sofa)

And then pipe that embedded field in next question.
