Side by Side Column Incorrectly Allowing For Multiple Choices

I have a series of questions that ask respondents to select how they taught a course before, during, and beyond a given time frame. They should only be able to select a single option under each of the three columns, but when I preview the survey I can select multiple options under each column (even with single answer selected under column options.

Any ideas as to fix this issue?

Hi @Harmon187 ,

The side-by-side question is designed to capture a separate response within each column; in other words, more than one answer per row.

Please use a Matrix question with the Likert variation instead.

Not sure why I thought a side by side would be better for that question, thank you for the quick response!
