Connecting pre test survey data to post test survey

Hi this is my first post here so hopefully i don’t break any rules. I have a client which owns a clinic that would like to get some data assessment from their patients before conducting a minor surgery. After that they want a post survey to see if the patient symptom is getting better. The survey is purely used by the doctor to fill in. So the questions that are answered “no” in the first survey are not brought to the second survey. I saw some posts that recommend me using workflow but i was not able to get it to work and i keep getting an error saying that either I am using too many logins or something went wrong if I’m not mistaken. Is there any suggestions on how to do this. Below is my stepsCreate first survey	Embed a data(in this case the patient id)	Create a workflow	Attach a xm directory with the external reference as the patient id	Include the fields that i would like to bring 	Create second survey	Add an authenticator in the flow with contact as the xm directory as well as the reference which is the patient id	Create embed data for all the fields that i would like to bring over	Use it in the fields to display if not “no”Am i missing something? Also, i prefer not to use url query as i would not like to complicate the staff members as they are not technical users. Simply plug the survey and play with the url all ready for them. If there is any other qualtrics application that i am not aware of, please do recommend me and direct me to it. If it has something to do with code, it would be good also(pretty much prefer it)note: I am using the free trial as im trying out the survey but i will definitely recommend the client to take the paid version if this suites their needs.

I was finally able to solve this. Apparently the patient id was using an input given from the user. The embed block needs to be after the question block for it to record it. After dabbling in the application more, i am 1 step closer to solving the clients problem.
