Export with renamed column headers (Alias header columns)

I am new to Qualtrics. I need to export the data from Qualtrics. Is it possible to create alias column headers in Qualtrics for exporting the data? The survey questions are too long--I have to manually edit the column headers on my report after exporting. The information also exports symbols instead of spaces and I have to remove those as well.
Any ideas?

If I understand your question correctly, yes you can do this. Here's an example of variable names I typed in.

The variable names I typed are in the first row. Just delete the second row and you should be good.
