I have a study with a baseline and follow-up survey. They are de-identified but have an embedded piece of data so I can match them up later. The two surveys are different, especially as the follow-up surveys are specific to the assigned study group. Looking briefly at another listing, it says something about a string query from the first to the second, but I am not sure I did that. I embedded the same StudyID in each survey for the participant.

How do I match up the baseline survey to follow-up survey using the embedded data?

Depending on how you are distributing the two surveys to respondents, you may not need to use Query Strings. Are you sending them authenticated links through the Qualtrics email module? If so, as long as you are using the same sets of StudyID values for each respondent in the Embedded Data for both surveys, you should be able to match responses between them.

Yes, I am sending the participants the links in directed emails and both baseline and follow up have the same embedded study id. Thanks for the info
