Hi, 

Lately I have noticed that my post survey email trigger to respondents sends to ALL users even those who do not complete and submit the form. I usually set up two separate triggers, one to myself when they complete and submit, another to the user as confirmation. Fortunately the trigger to me works perfectly and will only send me an email if the form is completed, but for some reasons the user will still get an email even if they did not complete the form.

I assumed the post survey email trigger will only send an email to respondent if they complete the form. Someone please help me figure this out, Thanks.

Add a condition in your workflow task.

Thank You @Deepak , I noticed that’s the best option to resolve this. But that would mean setting up an email trigger using this approach “Survey Option > Post Survey > Edit trigger” is not reliable. Because that is what i currently use most of the time. 


Else you can delete responses partially completed ones from survey options.
