We would like to have an option from qualtrics to create an anonymous QR code or Link after a single user identified by a QR code provided by us, scans our unique QR code that identifies the user unequivocally (this initial different QR codes will be provided by us to all users). The new anonymous QR code generated by qualtrics should allow the users to compile a single survey in qualtrics. The intent is to prevent a single user to provide multiple responses to anonymous surveys. Thanks you.

Could you not just have one initial anonymous survey, where you identify the user (and have all users loaded in to), then you mark them as complete, and redirect them to the second survey to complete. This way the second survey will remain anonymous, and they will only be able to access it once via the first survey. In the first survey you can check if they have been redirected once, and deny if they have.

Hi Jesper, thanks for your message but we cannot directly send anything to the users. We can have them instigate the process scanning for example a QR code they already have (on their van). Is there a possibility to access a Survey with the QR code they have on their van and not with the generic QR code we send them?

Sorry, I didn’t understood the use case corrctly but if you don’t want single user to provide multiple responses then - we can add authenticator in the survey flow to check accross some identifier like email or some id (external data reference) which we can ask as a question in the survey. On response complete we can use directory task to add the user in a contact list with an embedded data survey completed as one.

Hi aatronco,

Sure, it does not matter how they access survey 1. It can be via a QR code that you provide. This will contain one link, that will take them to the survey. In the survey, they will be authenticated, so they need to be loaded with their profile in the survey, even if it is anonymously. When they have been authenticated, you can then mark their response as complete, and forward them to the second survey, which would be completely anonymous. When they try to access the first survey again via the QR code, then they will just get the survey already completed message, and then they cannot continue.

An additional survey will not provide a great experience. Would it be possible to originate the existing survey from different QR codes that we provide to users? 1 user, 1 QR code provided by us.

The user will not see this as two surveys. They will just see the authentication take place, then a redirect to the actual survey. All in all the user experience will appear as one survey.

If you want to generate unique QR codes, then this would be a massive manual process. There is no way to do this out of the box.
