Reminder Email Performance Measure | XM Community

Hi Qualtrics community,

I have recently started using email reminders, and I would like to measure the performance of the reminder emails.

Specifically, I would like to track the additional responses, and the CSAT given in those responses. Is there a report or filter that I can use to track these specific metrics? I cannot seem to isolate CSAT responses that have come from reminder emails.

Thanks.

There is unfortunately not an out of the box way to determine if a response came from a reminder as it sends the same survey link. There are a few ways to “roughly” go about this - please note it’s not a perfect science. Below is a survey where I sent out the original invite on 9/7, then reminders on the 9/9, 9/15, and today, 9/18.

You could place filters for “start date” to reflect the days on/after your reminders and deduce that those responses likely came in from reminders.

If you need to know exactly you would create a list of those who have not completed the survey and upload them as a new list, including a new column called “reminder” or something of that nature that you would set as embedded data. This does “ruin” Qualtrics analysis of response rates since it now thinks there are double the participants, additionally you need to be aware that participants will now have more than 1 link, allowing them to complete multiple surveys (this is going off the assumption that you only want participants taking the survey once)
