If I export the data in excel or csv without selecting “Split multi value fields into columns” and can I upload this into SPSS and run the analysis. just custom tables with stat testing that what I need.

Can anyone let me know what are pros and cons.

There is a option to download as sav format, “Split multi values into columns” option is not displayed for this format and one more thing is that, recode values are not in sequence. It takes time to fix this.

Hope someone can answer it.

As I said, if I export as spss file with “multi”, recode values for the same question is not in sequence. It takes much time to fix in SPSS

It is always good to break multi in to different cells with 0,1 otherwise it is comma seperated and difficult to analyze. You need different variable also in spss.

You can also download spss file directly from Qualtrics.

You can directly export in sav format from Qualtrics and upload in SPPS for analysis.
