Hello, I have four separate categories and I want to add custom drop down options to each of them. Originally I just had four separate questions, each with one drill down menu, however I'd like it to look cleaner. I made a matrix question with drop down options, however when I put in the drop down options, it adds it to the list for all four categories. I found an example survey of exactly what I want here. I'd appreciate any direction on how to do this!

You need to use Matrix -> Profile -> Drop Down list question type.
Now this question type allows to have different scale points but should have same number of scale point for all statements. Hence you need to hide unwanted option at particular statement using custom code.
