Hi, is it possible to reopen an anonymous survey response for the respondent to go back and edit responses in Qualtrics, if the link was distributed via anonymous link? Or is this only feasible in the personalized links?

Hello @four77,

To the best of my understanding, when a survey is sent anonymously, participants are unable to revise their responses as the system doesn't identify them. Conversely, if personalized links were used, respondents can edit their answers by receiving a Retake Survey link, which pre-fills the survey with their initial responses.
Let me know if this helps.

FWIW, Qualtrics users can generate a Retake Link for an response submitted via an anonymous link. But the trick will be whether or not you have sufficient information to identify the response to reopen.

Thanks! @MatthewM  I am curious to try that out -- does it happen to pre-populate with the original responses? (Assuming so, just curious!)

It has for me. There might be some unknown exceptions, though, like perhaps if you’re using CAPTCHA.
