I'm very new to Qualtrics and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but this is what I'm trying to get:
I want to add a new field in my data that would attribute for each survey response the number 1,2,3...etc as a serie based on the response date, how do I do that ?

How to create respondents record numbers in series ?

+22You can assign random number to a embedded data using pipe text option.
If you want that assignment to be in series then you need to use external web API to assign.
