How can I set "Request Response" for a single form field?

I have a few form questions that ask respondents to list local organizations (just instructions with a series of boxes below it). I want to set it up such that if they enter none, they get the "request response" message. But if they enter one name, they can continue without the message. Currently, they have to fill in every form field rather than just the first to avoid the response request.
Thanks

I don't know why request response isn't an option on form fields. I guess it might be confusing if there were a mix of force and request response fields.
Anyway, since it isn't an option, the only way to achieve a "request response" type functionality on a single field would be with JavaScript.

Turn off force response for the question. Edit the form fields, and set just that one field to force response.

Thanks. Do you know why "request response" is so much more limited than "force response"? I want to encourage a response, not force it.
