Text to speech/screen reader?

I have a user that plans to conduct a survey in part using the Mac built in screen reader capabilities. It works by highlighting (such as dragging with a mouse) from one point to another and hitting an assigned key combo. Their survey is all multiple choice questions, and this CAN work by highlighting the entire question/answer section and having it read the question followed by each answer in succession with no real break or gap - however it doesn't appear that any of the default Qualtrics themes allow you to "drag" highlight only a single answer - any ideas how I might be able to help this user?
