Hi Everyone

Via survey workflow, I can successfully add a respondent to an XM directory. ✅

I can also unsubscribe them; ✅

But doing this, only unsubscribes them from the contact list in question.

  1. How do I unsubscribe them from the directory? I assume if they’ve opted-out from a contact list like the above, they could still receive correspondence as they remain opted-in to the directory?
  1. If someone presses unsubscribe from an email invite, do they unsubscribe from the contact or the directory?

Once someone choose to unsubscribe they will be unsubscribed from the directory itself. So they will not receive any messages.

  1. I believe if you have admin-level rights in the Directory, you can opt-out contacts from the entire directory.
  2. The act of unsubscribing from an invite will automatically opt-out the contact from the current mailing list only. The page that appears offers the contact the option to opt out of the directory entirely
