I also had to go back and check, this is what I posted in January…

Professionally, I am keen to actually have a go at a Qualtrics certification…

Personally, I’ve a few fitness goals in mind, one being an ocean swim… hopefully without being eaten by something.

Happy to report I did successfully complete a 1k ocean swim and wasn’t eaten. Progress on my professional goal hasn’t been actioned yet though so time to refocus on that.

Too many to choose from, but I'd say AOT and One Piece.

Two of my goals have remained the same. Being a better parent and maintaining the focus on my health are perhaps not even objectives but more commitments to stay the course. The third item was more a goal and that was about professional growth.

Six months on (and older!) I sense a paradigm shift is happening on how I look at work and what my life should look like going forward. Work has been an important activity that dominated my priorities for the past 20 odd years. The burning desire fanning the flames of an ever progressing career are starting to wane. I'm in new territory and am trying to find my way with this changing perspective...

I've always been someone who enjoys configuring solutions and building implementations for large-scale clients. This year took that experience to the next level when I had the opportunity to design solutions for enterprise-level clients, working on high-level solution architecture and implementation strategy.

I'm also investing time in learning another enterprise experience management platform to broaden my perspective and continue growing as a solution consultant.

Bringing this topic back up in July feels like a bit of a low blow. 😅

Professionally, I've definitely been diving deeper into EX-related topics and have learned a lot along the way. The Qualtrics EX certification, however, is still sitting firmly in the "planned for 2026" category.
Not abandoned, just... well, waiting.

As for the mandolin hanging on my wall, I can technically say I started playing it this year. The challenge is that my definition of "regular practice" currently seems to mean "about once every six weeks."

For the second half of 2026, I'm sticking with both goals and aiming for a little more consistency. Nonetheless, thank you for the reminder. 🙂

There are quite a few on the list, but I'd go with AOT and One Piece

Had to go back and check my post! I have around 50% success rate.

I did well on networking front, opening up myself in front of people. However, I couldn’t keep up with running as my physio advised against it!

Back in January, we kicked off the year with Level Up 2026, where many of you shared a skill, certification, habit, or goal you were committing to for the year. We're halfway through 2026, time for an honest check-in!

Task: Tell us how it's going.

If you posted in January or forgot to but still set goals/resolutions:

  • Did you stick with it, pivot, or completely abandon ship (no judgment!)?

  • What surprised you along the way? Share any achievements (big or small) towards your ultimate goal!

  • What's your plan for the second half of the year?

If you didn't commit to a goal in January (or weren't part of the community yet), this is your chance to jump in:

  • Pick a goal, skill, or habit you want to commit to for the rest of 2026 and share it now. Better late than never, the back half of the year counts too!

Whether you're celebrating progress, taking a pause, or starting fresh today, every check-in helps keep us accountable together.

During the first week of each month, we will post a new question, topic, or activity for you to connect with the community and earn a badge. All community members who contribute a thoughtful comment to this month's discussion, between July 1 and July 31, will receive this badge worth 50 points by the end of the month.

Thanks for the Mid Year check in prompt. I did take a peek back to see what goals I made for myself in January 2026.

2026 Goals for myself:

Work - all things Qualtrics being an Admin. Training and socializing our new program with our front line teams engaging them.  I am excited to see the results, trends and insights that we gain from our 3 surveys that we’ve launched for this year. Excited to attend my 3rd X4 in March - even more exciting now that we just launched with Qualtrics surveys to our homeowners.

July 2026 - Things are going really well. More front-line teams are engaged and asking questions. Our responses are increasing and we are getting some great data insights for opportunities for actoin.

Family - Excited to see where the next chapter takes our daughter who graduates in June 2026 with a Bachelors in Forensics and Psychology as she navigates and plans her next steps for year 5 - likely in Pathology. I will always be her biggest fan and encourager (Dad too)

July 2026 - On a personal note, our daughter graduated last month with honors degree and received the 2nd place award overall for the highest GPA of all graduating 4th year students. She are very proud of her and support her as she navigates her next steps. She is a continuous learner and teaches me new things every day - even at age 21!

Be the best version of me and to never stop learning.

July 2026 - Life has gotten busy at work & personal. I have done a lot of self-education on leadership and through Qualtrics.  The opportunities are endless which is amazing.

As we approach the busiest time of year, I plan to keep pushing through with survey results and watching trends & themes to share with our teams.

We are also launching another survey soon - for our trades!  Exciting adventures.

What a proud parent moment! And best of luck with the upcoming projects!

Thank you!  Yes, still beaming with pride.

Back in January, I committed to reading 15 books by the end of the year — and I'm already at 11 books read halfway through 2026! 📚 Things are definitely looking good. The plan for the second half? Keep the momentum going and cross that finish line!
