Creating a new EX project vs. copying an existing project | XM Community

Hello! We created an EX25 survey in May 2023 and copied the project for two more surveys in August and November 2023. Should we continue that approach since our questions, logic, design, dashboards, etc. are already built (which would help greatly with efficiency!), or should we start from scratch and create a new EX25 project? 

I’m curious about the risks of copying the project, since that is what we intend to do for our upcoming May survey as the questions, logic, etc. will largely stay the same.

Hey @mpjacobs,

I don’t see any issues with copying. In case you refer to new Qualtrics features and similar, your new project will always have the most up-to-date version of features available. 

Of course, it could be that at some point some setup (e.g. question type) is not supported anymore, however, this should come up while testing phase. 

I personally would go on with copying.
