Hello,

We are approaching our seat limit with our contract, and want to remove some employees who are no longer with the company to free up some of our seats. I am hesitant to move forward with this because it says ALL data connected with user will be lost.

Does that include previous survey responses? I am under the impression that it is any surveys that they may have owned but am looking more specifically about data loss. Any clarity would be appreciated!

Hello @haileygarcia,

Yes, When you delete a user in Qualtrics, all data associated with that user, including their survey responses, contact lists and any other data in their account, will be permanently deleted. This means that any surveys they owned and the responses collected through those surveys will also be lost.

If you want to avoid data loss, you can transfer the ownership of their surveys to another user before deleting the account.

Let me know if this helps.
