Hi I have a question regarding the numbers shown in the above screenshot. I’m planning to recruit 30 participants for my study and they are randomized in to 3 different group of 10 each. As i understand initially participants will randomized evenly. After one group quotes meet (10) and the participants will randomized for remaining two group.

I’m not sure I understand correctly? Can anyone give me feedback on this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Jdevkota

The screenshot you shared showcases the count of how many times a group has been selected by the randomizer, it increase dynamically as a group is selected. You can reset the count whenever you want and keep a check on it at the same time.
While you will have to use Quotas to achieve your use case.

STEP 1: You will have to decide on the basis of which trigger point the respondents will be assigned to a random group. Below I have created a dummy question and created embedded data for the same.

STEP 2:

Go to Quotas
Keep the condition as ‘increment the quota when embedded Group A is equal to 1’. Set the limit as 10 from top right corner. From ‘quotas options’ you can decide as well what you have to do when the quota reaches its limit.
REPEAT THIS STEP TO CREATE QUOTA FOR ALL THE OTHER GROUPS AS WELL.

STEP 3:

Create such branches inside the randomizer which will check the quota limit for each group and display the blocks accordingly.

END!
