Since Qualtrics Simple Layout is now the recommended style for website surveys, I tried revising a current slider - 5 star question (from flat layout) and numbers appeared - a ‘1’ near the first star and a ‘5’ under the fifth star.  An ‘*’ also showed up preceding the question.  Are these additions required to meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards?  Or can these elements be removed?  Thanks!
