How to punch a question by default based on previous question selection

Hi Team,
 
I have country question and region question. I don't want to show region question on screen and need to punch backend based on the country selection. Please suggest.

Instead of making the Region an actual question, I would just make it an Embedded Datafield that you can can use Branch Logic in survey flow to set based on the Country entered by the respondent.
