Changing a downloadable file link on a live survey

I have a live survey that has collected a number of responses. There is a link to a downloadable file (a word document) in the survey introduction. I would like to update the document linked to this downloadable file.

Will updating this downloadable file link impact the responses collected to date?

No, updating either the file itself (while preserving the link as is) or changing the file link will NOT affect the responses if that is all you are changing.

As @MatthewM said, it shouldn’t affect your responses, but just make sure to hit the publish button after uploading the new file in order for it to be live to respondents.
