Table of contents - make always visible as a sidebar or similar?

I have a table of contents in my survey. I think it used to be possible to have the table of contents always visible as a sidebar but I can’t seem to make that happen (it’s always hidden under the hamburger button, displaying only when clicked). Am I misremembering that this used to be able to be set as always visible? Is there a way to make that happen?

Hello, I am trying to test my survey by populating age to be equal to “35”. Recurring survey with personal links

I am wanting to send out recurring survey once a week, but I would like to use personal links as I am embedding data on the contact rather than requiring participants to self identify. I am not sure how to set this up as once someone has completed a survey it typically does not allow for you to resend them the same link. I am also wanting to set it up so that it goes out weekly, every Thursday for 3 weeks in a row, then skips a week (respondents will have a “week off”), then send again week for 3 weeks, followed by an off week, etc… *I will be sending to the same contact list every single time.

Reducing White Space Between Questions - New Survey Taking Experience

Hi folks, I am working on a short survey that I would like to embed in a webpage. I have the New Survey Taking Experience enabled and also have “Compact” selected for Question Spacing. That said, I would like my entire survey to be even more compact if possible so that its look and feel on the webpage is more streamlined. My survey contains a multiple choice dropdown, text entry, and form field questions. Is there a way I can reduce the amount of white space between questions without disabling the New Survey Taking Experience? Any solutions or advice are much appreciated!

Qualtrics App for Salesforce - Benefits and Features

Hi Qualtrics Community! I am currently using Qualtrics as a stand-alone application for managing CX survey feedback and dashboards, but looking at downloading Qualtrics for Salesforce. I’d love to better understand the features and benefits of the app within Salesforce. Does anyone have real-world experience and examples of how they use the app and be willing to share? From my reading, I understand dashboards are visible within Salesforce and dashboard widgets can be added to objects, such as NPS score on the account’s page. This seems to provide some benefit for wider visibility to the organization, but what else? We’re already triggering surveys through a Salesforce outbound message, and mapping responses back to Salesforce, so I don’t anticipate changing this since it is already working. Also, we currently map some operational embedded data from Salesforce to survey responses. Looking forward to hearing from you and appreciate any help/guidance you can provide! PS - Is it easy to in

Making a page header stick

Hi Brains Trust. I’m trying to make my page header stick so that it doesn’t scroll up with my questions (I have 8 questions that need to stay on the same page). I’ve a feeling it can be done in Look and Feel by using some custom CSS in the Header field. Does anyone know the code? I have no programming experience or knowledge whatsoever! Thanks

Issue capturing data generated within Loop & Merge iteration in export

I am having trouble capturing data that is generated and defined within each iteration of a Loop & Merge block in Qualtrics and getting it to appear in my exported survey results. Here's my setup: I have a Loop & Merge block that iterates multiple times (up to 40). Within each iteration, I am using JavaScript to generate and set the values of several variables (e.g., condition, rand, exemplarNumber, etc.) as Embedded Data fields. My goal is to have the values of these variables for each iteration included in the exported data, ideally as separate columns or in a structured format. Here are the methods I have already tried without success: Defining fields in the Loop & Merge settings and trying to populate them (I couldn't get these to print in the export). Using hidden Text Entry questions within the loop to store the values (this didn't work as expected). Concatenating the values into a single Embedded Data field (this is hard to analyze). Trying to use Qualtrics validation to capture

Missing responses in Response Report and Excel Download

Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a strange issue in Qualtrics that I’ve never encountered before, and I’m reaching out to see if anyone here might have insight or has seen something similar. This started last Thursday. I have a form that users fill out, which includes 27 questions along with their name, title, phone number, and email. Once a user submits the form, both the user and the support team receive an email with a response report. Since Thursday, the user and the support team are still receiving the report, but the name, title, phone number, and email fields are missing from it. As a result, the support team doesn’t know who submitted the form or who to assist. All the other fields exist - in the response report and in the excel download. Thankfully, I can still access this information on the backend. I've been manually clicking "View Response" and exporting individual PDFs to get the missing data. However, when I export the full Excel report from Qualtrics, the name, title, phone

Import custom topics in TextIQ

Hi Community, Is there any way to upload custom json file in textIQ. Exported the topics from Qualtrics survey as Json and imported it into Excel. The above image is the output of json file in Excel. As you can see, topicID is unique it creates by itself when we create topics in textiQ, but what if I want to add additional topics to it.

Need to move questions to scoring category

I have tirelessly combed through multiple posts here and I cannot find the answer that I am looking for, so I am hoping that there is someone out there that help. Within the scoring module, I see where I can set up scoring groups and categories - but how do I move questions into their respective scoring categories??? No matter what I have tried, all of my blocks remain in the same category. At the beginning of my survey I have three questions (its own block) that I want to “hide” at the post-survey scoring results. While I understand that I can assign these no scoring value so they are not calculated, I don’t want them to appear at all. Thanks in advance!

Endless survey won't branch and display correctly.

Hello - We have a survey we need to deploy soon, and it has a block the should ask “do you want to report another issue” and if yes, loop back through that section, each time asking do you want to be contacted in a follow up for the issue you’ve chosen to report. It should bank each report as data of one issue, and different surveyed individuals may chose to report different numbers of issues. If someone says no more issues but wanted to address any of them in a follow up, it should direct them to the follow up input section for contact, then end. if they say no more issues and no follow, it should end. but right now it loops forever no matter what. Help please!

My computerized experiment was conducted on Qualtrics, but I don’t know how to cite it in my paper writing following APA 7th format? It seems that may people just put the link www.qualtrics.com after the mention of Qualtrics but it doesn’t follow the APA format. Can anyone help me ?

User role management in B2B environment - how do you do it?

Hi all, I am trying to figure out the best way to implement user roles across my large SaaS b2b account. We need roles to define who can send surveys, who can’t, who needs approvals from whom etc.. Hoping to generate some discussion on how you all do this- I find the documentation a bit lacking and resources to learn about this in a practical manner for my use case nonexistent. Links to in-depth readings are also really appreciated. Photo or Video Upload, Colour Changing

Hello. I am struggling very much with Qualtrics. At the moment, I simply need to upload a series of photos into the survey to appear with my questions, but I only see an error that says there is an issue with the library, and I see no option to upload my own photos, which is what I need. My other option is to upload a video, which informs me cannot be saved because “only certain HTML tags are permitted.” In turn, this issue only exists for me because when I recolour words, the new colours do not appear in the survey, only the original greyscale design. I have stripped the formatting and changed the theme, but cannot access CSS so am unsure of what else to do. An answer to any of these would be appreciated, I am operating on the 30 day trial of the full account, so theoretically should not be limited in anything.

Filter data to display only results of partial surveys

I did not use reCAPCHTA, but the “next” button on a survey can essentially work the same. I want to pull and export data for partial responses who submit completed at least 2 survey questions - being that I have an NPS question and then you’re required to click the next button to the next page, so if they have at least 2 questions filled out I’m going to assume it wasn’t a bot taking it. I’m not sure though how to set it up. My survey has several different branches all with display logic and hundreds of questions so it is not necessarily feasible to use a “is not empty” filter on each of the questions.

Questions about email limits

Hello, I’m a relatively new Qualtrics Brand Admin, and have been delving into the world of email & SMS, including the limits thereupon. There are several limits and settings; as I understand it, Allowed Outgoing Emails/Week is for the last 7 days, while Allowed Outgoing Emails is cumulative? Is there a way, other than My Account > Account Settings to view the Allowed Outgoing Emails value for a user? Impersonating them can be a hassle when juggling multiple tabs. Also, the default account setting for Allowed Outgoing Emails/Week is “Default”. The Google AI response says this is 500. Is that correct, and can I reset it on my system if I want a higher default? How can obtain the total Comments received in a survey?

Hi folks, I would like to add in my Survey report the total comments received, we have 30 questions but 10 of these questions have a free text box to add comments about our IT service so, I would like to show in the leader report how many comments we receive for each open text box, see below example marked in red. How to email multiple recipients under one email

Hello Qualtrics Community! I set up a workflow to email multiple recipients when a survey response has been completed. Each person listed in the “To:” line receives their own individual email, but I would like all recipients to be on one email, similar to using Outlook. This way, everyone sees who the original email went to and can “reply all” to start an internal discussion amongst the team, if needed. I ran across a post from 6 years ago where someone asked about this. At the time this feature was not available, and it was suggested they make a request to Qualtrics. Does anyone know if this has been developed, or if there is a way to accomplish what I’m trying to do? Many thanks! Looking forward to your feedback.

Formula Fields- limit to the number of variables

I need to calculate the average of 24 different fields and formula fields seem to be capped at 20 variables. I would like this to be done in the data set because I am building a report for it within Qualtrics. Any ideas about how to do this since I've already done my data collection? I think in the future, I will create an embedded field that calculates the value, so any tips on executing that would also be appreciated. Many thanks for your consideration!

display randomly selected N of R choices, where K of the R choices are excluded based on the answer to another question

We have a question, Q02, in which we want to display 5 choices randomly selected from 10 possible choices. Every respondent should see 5 choices. However, for some respondents, one of the 10 possible choices should be excluded based on the answer to a previous question, Q01. So for example, if the respondent answered "boy" to Q01, then the 10th choice of the 10 possible choices is removed before random selection. The respondent would see 5 of the 9 remaining possible choices. How can we implement this? If we gate the 10th possible choice behind display logic, it could still be selected as one of the randomly selected 5 choices, so that some respondents would only see 4 choices. We want to make it so that everybody always sees 5 choices.

Prevent Multiple Submissions in a certain period of time

Hi everyone, I have a survey distributed with a QR printed in the purchase receipt. I’m trying to prevent multiple replies from the same user for a certain period of time (same day or a couple of days). However, it could be that the person places another purchase and wants to leave another reply. We want to allow that. Is there a way to reset the Q_BallotBoxStuffing after a certain time of period? I tried the option of the “RelevantID” and they are correctly marked as duplicated and I can reset it after 1 week. However, this does not prevent the customers from taking the survey as many times as they want. Thank you all!
