I have a min and max range of numbers for my slider. How do i merge -1, 1 on the slider range?

My range on the slider goes from -10 to +10. I dont need the -1 and +1 because they mean the same thing for the survey question. I want to merge those two numbers. Essentially the range would be: -10, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3, -2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 Is there a way to do custom ranges/ values?

Not in slider , but once data is captured you can recode the values (or merge -1 and +1) in spss or excel. Also in embedded variable you can punch recoded answer based on selection.
