Best way to set up multiple text entries to analyse together in TextIQ

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hello,

I am trying to design a survey with multiple text entries (sentences) per survey to be analysed in TextIQ under the same question. We are running this as a focus group and so will be entering the responses (hopefully) directly into Qualtrics by the interviewer.

e.g.

What do you like about school?

Answers-

  • I like the teachers
  • I like recess
  • I like the food.

I have tried form field, text entry, side by side, as well as then grouping fields and combining groups etc. Form field is the easiest from the Interview side, but I cannot get it to combine in TextIQ under one question (with individual responses).

Any help for different methods would be appreciated….I feel out of ideas!!

Thanks!!

if you are using form field than in the survey flow pipe all the responses from the question in one embedded data and this can be used in the dashboard for TextiQ.

Hope this helps!

Thank you!

These then come into TextIQ as a single answer, with each form field separated by commas.

Is there a way for them to come through into that one newly created field for analysis, but as separate entries? If I am trying to analyse percentages of responses, when they are the one entry this makes it difficult.

I believe there is no such feasibility yet to identify the same.

it will be 3 different fields but you can also create your own field for example to show average of 3 sentiment columns.
