Limit access to API


Hi All, We have a use case where we want some users to be able to access the APIs to pull survey responses, but we do not want them to be able to delete anything. Is this feasible? Thanks!

I believe that user permissions still matter even with API access, so as long as that user doesn't own the survey, share it to them with read only permissions. Those are set in the sharing module and become quite granular if you click into each heading.

That would be great! Did you have the chance to try if that is the case? My department will not give me access to the APIs due to this access concern...

@apisoni I would verify by calling customer support. They are great and I don't want to lead you astray in a case that is probably better handled by them. Report back what you learn for the group!

Sure! I contacted support last week! They told me that essentially @mattyb513 is right! Your visibility and possible actions are limited to what is assigned to you in the standard fashion! Thanks all!
