Using Tags to Trigger Workflow

Hello! I am looking to create an approval workflow for one of my forms. Instead of using retake links and using a trigger based off of a response to a specific question, can a workflow be triggered by a tag applied on the Data & Analysis screen. I.E. if I add an "Approved" tag, it will trigger an email to Person 2?

Hello mattheww
I am assuming by tagging you mean manually adding Approved in front of each response.
The approach here could be adding it ("Approved") via an API call of updating the response. You can follow the steps from here - Update Response API
Post that, do not select " When a response is recorded" in the events of survey response workflow, instead select "Responses Updated via Qualtrics API" and add an Email Task below. This should do the job for you.
