Topic: Customizing End of Survey Experiences

Not all survey respondents are created equal, whether they don’t fit your target demographic, incorrectly answer your attention check questions, or just don’t fully complete your survey. A custom end of survey experience can help distinguish between types of respondents by encouraging future survey participation while also screening out unwanted responses for improved data collection.

In Qualtrics, once your respondent finishes the survey you have multiple options to choose from including: displaying a custom thank you message, providing a response summary, redirecting the user to a URL, and many more.

Learn how to customize your end of survey messages and start providing your respondents with positive lasting impressions today!

Question of the Week: What is your most frequently used custom end of survey message?

I frequently use "Redirect to URL" with "Include Response Summary" to be close second.

https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/comment/55216#Comment_55216I think "Redirect to URL" is a must-use for most Qualtrics users, especially when creating a survey with any type of compensation. 😄

Many of our surveys are “repeated” by a user.  For example, a special education teacher has 25 students on their case load.  They are completing a survey to record State Assessment accommodations for every student that needs support.  They may have to enter the survey 25 times, all for different cases.  In surveys like this, we have a link to take the survey again in the end of survey message.
