Invitation Email doesn't arrive with the custom code

Hello,I did a few configurations in the source code in Qualtrics in order to ensure I had a button/box on my survey invitation link (please see imagem_codigo).Everything seems fine in Qualtrics, when I’m trying to send the survey invitation (please see imagem_1). However, when I receive nothing appears as it was showing in Qualtrics (please see imagem_2). How came this is happening? Why everything appears super cool in Qualtrics and then I end up receiving something completely different? It’s like he is ignoring all configurations for the parts that have links.Thank you!

Hide and show next questions in javascript

I have several questions in one block. The first one is text type. I use javascript to edit it as a chat box and mimic a conversation. Meanwhile I want to ask people questions during this chat, for example, the second and third questions in this block will show after the messages in chatbox are displayed. What are the javascript functions I can use to hide/show the questions in the first text question's javascript? Thanks

How can I randomly assign participants to one out of two surveys

I have two identical surveys, except for the background of the survey. I need to randomly assign participants to one of the two surveys. An alternative solution would be to repeat the questions and use the randomizer, but I cannot find a way to add a picture as a block background (it needs to have 60 % transparency). Does anybody have a solution ?

Images in Loop & Merge

Hi everyone,This question is slightly redundant with regard to a few others here (sorry), but the earlier questions don't seem to have the information I need:I am trying to show a single question many times with different images above the question. I used loop & merge function for the images (this is something I have done successfully in the past--using the same code I am using now). Below are a photograph of the "preview" screen, as well as the Field1 entry for Loop & Merge. The image URLs in the photos below are all good. I checked them. Also, I tried adding in a "/" before each ">"--it didn't change anything.Any thoughts would be super appreciated. I've been stuck on this for ages and feel totally crazy. Thanks so much in advance!

Connecting javascript, embedded data, and loop and merge block

I am trying to program a conjoint and best as I can tell have followed the steps on this guide: https://m-graham.com/resources/conjoint%20how-to.pdf . However, my tables for the conjoint choices are not populating, and I cannot see where it is breaking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! How can I keep playing audio when turning to another page?

Hi there,I use the code below to autoplay a music clip, and participants will answer questions while listening to music. I would like to keep playing the same music clip without any break on the next page. That is, the music keeps playing, and participants answer questions on two separate pages while listening to the music. Currently, I put this code snippet onto these two pages, but there definitely will be a break. On the second page, the music clip will be replayed from start. What can I do to achieve that purpose? Slider Tooltip Appears Static ... Needs to Append to Handle

I have a slider with customized tool tip box. I am using mutation observer to change the displayed tool tip value, because of which I have to disable the 'Show values' option. The problem is without 'Show values' enabled, the tool tip div with the tool tip box is currently misplaced. How can I attach the tool tip to the slider handle so that it moves along with it rather than stays static at bottom left. Any help will be welcome.

only the first question string from Java Script QID is stored in the data

HiFor a conjoint analysis, I would like to store the string values of each attribute of the conjoint experiment. These are randomised using Java Script. In the Survey flow I set embedded data to save the strings which are randomised using Java Script. I am planning to present two packages five times. However, only the strings of the first question's strings are stored successfully in the data. I have tried copy and pasting both the html code and the Java Script code to a new questioncopying the entire question first question for which the data is savedmoving a different question to come firstchecked the embeddings for the correct question numbers copied the entire blockmoved the copied block on top of the original block but I have always encountered the same problem, which is that only the first pair of randomised string values and attribute names of the conjoint are stored. It seems that this is a problem with the embedding as the values are displayed but not stored. Has anyone encoun

Using a hyperlink in a text to move to the next page

Hi everyone!I am trying to figure out the following:I have an extremely simple two page survey (actually a registration form). On page 1 there is an introductory text, on page 2 there is the form (i.e., question) to sign up.In the first paragraph on page one I would like to directly offer the participant to sign up: "Thank you for your interest. You may directly follow this link to sign up."My idea is that quick readers can instantly click on "this link", a hyperlink that directly moves to the next page. Everyone else can read the other paragraphs and then click on the forward-button at the bottom of the page.Is there an easy way to execute this? Next button disappearing - how do I stop this?

Creating a slider question with custom graphics

Hi, I am new to Qualtrics and am using the platform for my thesis research. I want to create four visual analogue scales with a smiley/ sad face at either end as the scale. Distributing Rewards using WebService/Google API - Redirect URI Problem

Hi all, I'll be running a multi-wave study on Qualtrics soon and am looking for creative ways to distribute payment to participants after they complete each survey wave, as we don't have a license for Rybbon/Tango, can't use e.g. Prolific for this study, and doing it manually is going to be quite a lot of work. One thought I had was to use a WebService task - after survey completion, I would make an OAuth2 call to the Google API, pull an unused previously-purchased gift card code from a private Google Sheet, and then send this in an email in a subsequent task.The problem I've run into (which may be a silly one because I haven't used many APIs in my life) is that Google gives me a "redirect_uri_mismatch" error when trying to add the User Account. This should be all well and good because I can add authorized URIs in the Google API console, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the correct redirect URI should actually be. I've tried all the seemingly obvious ones related to my un

Complete NOOB here...Border issue with simple table in message

Automatic Audio Not Playing when Published (Only Plays in Preview)

Hello! I used the following code (in the source section of the rich content editor) to auto play audio without auto advancing the slide -- code: < embed autostart="true" height="90" hidden="true" loop="false" src="YOUR_AUDIO_SOURCE_URL" width="180"></embed > When using the code for automatic play, the audio plays on preview (although all the audio files across all slides with audio play at the same time when editing AND during preview the audio echos, which I read goes away when published), however, when I publish to review the survey there is no audio and the survey does not start from the beginning, but starts on random slides! I am hoping someone can help me find a solution to potentially all of the slides not playing at the same time during editing, but most importantly for actually publishing the audio! Thank you!

Is there a way to take the time stamp off of an audio/media file?

I am setting up an experiment where participants will listen to a musical excerpt (put into survey using insert media). After listening to the excerpt, they are asked to estimate the duration of the audio file, then we measure for narrative engagement. The problem with this is Qualtrics automatically puts the time stamp on media files, so it shows exactly how long the excerpt is as it plays. I am wondering if there is anyway to get rid of this?Thank you for the help!

Customize location of response options?

We have a series of images like the one attached. The respondent is supposed to pick one of four emotions displayed as shown on the attachment: at the corners of the image, not at the bottom like conventional multiple choice options. The spatial arrangement of the response options is the tricky thing. Is that possible? Thank you so much!

Javascript for piped text, many options

Hi all,In my survey I want have a piece of text in Q2 depend on what was entered in Q1. In this case Q1 is a text field, with possibly 100 different answers (I also need an else clause). Can I use Javascript to use if-else statements, or maybe something with an array?Conceptually, this is what I want: if Q1 = "answer text 1" then Q2 = "What is your experience in working with Mary?"if Q1 = "answer text 2" then Q2 = "What is your experience in working with John?"...if Q1 = "answer text 100" then Q2 = "What is your experience in working with Angela?"else Q2 = "Not sure yet what to ask here..."The name will also come back in other questions (e.g. Q3). I have a feeling that once Q1 is known, I have to look up the name and then put it in a hidden question. SMARTRIQS multi stage chat study with waiting room

I am trying to set up a multistage chat interaction study that was a waiting room, so people reading at different speeds join the chat room at the same time.I downloaded the templates with waiting rooms, but when i adapted it it does not quite work. One of the roles gets the usual chat room and can chat, while the other two roles have a box that says "type message" that A) does not work and B) does not display what the other person that has the normal chat window writes. (photo attached).I also got an error message once maybe that helpsAnyone have any ideas?

Javascript for Accordion size

Hi,I have set up an accordion on the exit screen of my survey to provide some final information. When expanded, one is perfect, but one has a significant amount of white space at the bottom when expandedHow can I make the box fit to the text?
