I think the interesting thing about Action Planning is not just how it can manage and track some outer-loop project to improve metrics. It’s about seeing what you did really leave an effect on result. If you have Action Planning Dashboard that monitor the effectiveness of action plans over time, your colleagues will be more engage and will not completing task just because you assign them to.
Track with them, celebrate with them, let them come-up with their own solution.
