Mandatory answer for people who answer NPS below 7

Hello,
i would like to put a mandatory answer for those who anser NPS below 7 and those who answer 8 or more get a not required answer in free text
Is this possible or its easier to put answer required for all?

What you're looking for is under "custom validation". You would place this on the open end:
image.pngBasically, you are creating sets of conditions between the two questions. in Q3 (my NPS question) 8,9,10 automatically pass, 0-7 only pass if Q4 (the open end) is not empty. Note this would be shorter if the logic was "6 or below" (Q4 Detractor=True) or "8 or below" (Q4 Promoter=False).
The other way to do this would be to only PRESENT the open end in the instance where they rated 0-7, and then always make it required, but then you would only collect negative feedback, vs positive.

I try this alternative you told me but i must put it mandatory for answers lowers than 8 and optional for answer upper than 8, that option must show to everyone. I dont want to duplicate the question and set a logical display
