Carousel matrix question formatting | XM Community

Is it possible to have a carousel matrix question that has different scale points for different statements within the matrix? For example, some statements need to be on an agreement scale, and other statements need to be on a satisfaction scale.

My problem is that my statements are long, so they get cut off when using the profile formatting instead of carousel, so people would have to scroll to the right to see the full scale.

@ash123 A matrix table is a table so it should have the same number of collums (i.e answer, scale point) so your statement should be on different question. Also, your question will be differentiated from other and won’t cause any confuse (e.g How satisfied were you with the following?...Do you agree with the following?……..)

@ash123 - I think forcing mobile accordion format would address your issue.  I have a forceAccordion function is you are interested.

How the stakeholder wants it set up is with satisfaction scale and agreement scale questions in the same matrix though. So when I use profile formatting, it allows me to change the scales above each individual statement in the matrix, but not for the carousel. I wonder if there’s a code to change that. @dxconnamnguyen

@TomG Thank you! I pasted this into the header:

And I pasted this into the matrix question, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Am I doing this right?

@ash123 - You would need to get the forceAccordion function code from me.

It would replace the comment /*Paste forceAccordion function JS here*/.
